Mission

The Class Acts Community Arts Program strives to deepen arts knowledge, integrate and enhance the curriculum, invigorate social service themes and offer professional development in various arts disciplines.

The Class Acts Community Arts Program is pleased to offer unique and quality arts experiences in the theater, local schools and community organizations. This program places trained, professional artists who are enthusiastic and motivated in settings where they can connect with the concept of that environment and encourage the participants toward a deeper connection with the arts. Teaching artists are sensitive to the needs of each audience/workshop base and to the potential that lies within each individual participant. The mission is to enhance learning and broaden world view. The Class Acts Community Arts Program strives to deepen arts knowledge, invigorate social service themes, integrate and enhance the curriculum and offer professional development in various arts disciplines.

Diversity

The Class Acts Community Arts Program extends into countywide school and community organizations with a deep and wide range of arts education experiences. From one day to several months long, Class Acts residencies, workshops and master classes occur in the areas of the literary arts, dance, classical music, international music, opera, world culture, storytelling, improvisation and theater etiquette.
