The Class Acts Educational Performance Series, now in its 29th season, provides quality performing arts programs that enhance the learning experience for students and teachers!
Our performances correlate with Florida’s curriculum standards, providing an effective tool for teaching art and theater, the core subjects and social-emotional learning.
Class Acts has an exciting season of programming, ranging from science and history to politics and literature. Our 29th season also includes a sensory-friendly show as well as a bilingual show to promote and celebrate inclusion and diversity. We have also included 3 BAM! Fests this season to give students a field day for the performing arts.
Through the Literacy Link program, after select live performances, students can choose a book to take home. These book-giveaways will have a variety of titles all related to the show and will help increase child literacy and subject knowledge. Teachers can also benefit from the Literacy Link program! For select literary based performances, teachers will receive a classroom copy of the title to enjoy with their class
Class Acts provides all educators with teacher resource guides, prepared specifically for each performance. These guides focus on grade appropriate activities that support what is being taught in the classroom and on stage.

Keep the field trip going! To further the curriculum seen on stage, after select shows students can participate in additional Workshops. These workshops take place at the theater and through hands-on arts activities students can engage with the subject matter.
The fun doesn’t stop at the theater! Class Acts also bring artists into local schools with an Artist Residency. Classes will be led by local, professional artists after school in a week-long arts project. Whether it’s learning the elements of photograph or how to build a drum, students will get a chance to experience the real-life process of creating art.
